Podgora is a pearl on the Mediterranean and it is located on the footage of the Mountain Biokovo between Split and Dubrovnik, which are the nearest airports with connection to the coastal road. Clear and warm sea has formed unique sand beaches and bays.This makes Podgora a pleasant destination from spring to autumn.
One of the biggest advantages of Podgora is the fact that it is very close to some popular excursion places. Biokovo with its peak Sv. Juraj (St. George) Sv. Jurom (1762 m), which can be reached by car, as well as the islands Brač (7 km with the ferry), Hvar (10 km with the ferry), Korčula (20 km with the ferry), are very popular places. If you prefer rivers, you can go and visit Radmanove mlinice (45 km) where you can try out river rafting or you can visit the amazing Krka-waterfalls (100 km). We don’t even have to mention Dubrovnik because it’s the most famous place for tourists in this part of Europe.We would also recommend to visit Split with its famous .Diocletian palace (65 km)
